Do you have to register for AAPI APPIC match?
APPIC strongly encourages the intern applicant to consult and work closely with your Director of Clinical Training (DCT) throughout the application process. In order to obtain a position at any program that uses the AAPI Online service, applicants must register for and participate in the APPIC Match.
What are the responses to the AAPI 2.1?
Responses to the AAPI-2.1 provide an index of risk in five specific parenting and child rearing behaviors: The AAPI-2.1, like its predecessor the AAPI is a validated and reliable inventory used to assess parenting attitudes. Over 30 years of research has gone into refining the AAPI.
When to use the AAPI for an internship?
The AAPI will be used for each upcoming selection cycle (for internships taking place in the next year). The AAPI should be used by students to apply to all APPIC-member internship programs as well as those non-member programs that register to participate in the APPIC Match.
What is the purpose of the aapi-2?
The AAPI-2 is an inventory designed to assess the parenting and child rearing attitudes of adult and adolescent parent and pre-parent populations.
Where can I download the AAPI test forms?
Download Test Forms. Once you establish an AAPI OnLine account, you will receive a bounce back activation email that allows you to download and print all the forms. Data Storage. At the end of each Program, staff is encouraged to download and save their data.

Is the aapi-2 a diagnostic or discriminatory scale?
Each of the five parenting constructs of the AAPI-2, forming the five sub-scales of the inventory, show significant diagnostic and discriminatory validity. That is, responses to the inventory discriminate between the parenting behaviors of known abusive parents and the behaviors of non-abusive parents.
