Character Design References™ (CDR) is a webzine dedicated to the art of animation, video games, comics and illustration and it's the largest community of character designers on the Internet.
The Character Creator aims to provide a fun and easy way to help you find a look for your characters. Just like the japanese kisekae (electronic paper dolls), you pick and choose items from a list to ornate your character with.
The goal is to visually communicate our characters from life observations, reference, and our imaginations. As we continue the course, the students will get used to the idea of iteration and refinement in designs, better serving the story and direction.
