Horizon, a team of students from Brighton Secondary School, Adelaide, were crowned F1 in Schools World Champions 2018 at the 14th F1 in Schools World Finals, held this year at Resorts World Sentosa, Singapore.
Chase Carey, Executive Chairman, CEO, Formula One Group, and Andrew Denford, Founder and Chairman, F1 in Schools, presented the new Formula 1 F1 in Schools World Champions Trophy to Horizon at the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) supported Awards Celebration Gala Dinner, attended by Formula 1 team representatives and invited guests.
The F1 in Schools STEM Challenge, a leading, multi-discipline, not-for-profit, global education programme, is delighted to announce a new partnership with PMI Educational Foundation (PMIEF) to educate F1 in Schools' participants and stakeholders in project management fundamentals.
The Event The Aramco F1 in Schools 2020(21) World Finals will take place between Friday 4th and Tuesday 8th June 2021. With the current travel restrictions, our participating student teams will be attending the event virtually through 15 interactive zoom sessions, covering 4 different time zones.
To credit the Project Management skills and processes used by teams, the World Finals 2020/21 Competition Regulations contain a new ‘ Project Management’ scorecard. It is very important that teams carefully read this new section and ensure their Project Management methodology and processes are evidenced clearly, as per the new scorecard.
