If you want to use an Instagram filter, you must access your Instagram application (you can only find them in the Instagram application, not on the PC) and access an account of a filter creator. We will know that this user has filters created because we will see the icon of the typical face of the filters, as can be seen in the following image:
"Hidden" filters appear next to an unchecked circle. Tap the filters you'd like to "unhide," or add. These will now appear as an option when you post a photo or video. Tap a filter to add or remove it from the list you see when you upload a post.
Why is the filter not appearing? 1. After you follow the creator’s account, their filters will appear in the stories filter selection bar automatically (most often at the end, after the standard Instagram masks). If this did not happen right away, you need to exit and refresh, before going back to the Instagram application.
Tap on the head-and-shoulders icon in the lower-right corner of the app, tap on “Following,” and start cutting down to just the accounts you really care about. Also, stop loving every photo.
Keep reading to find out how to add and delete these filters from your Instagram camera, as well as my list of favorites! When you see someone post a story with a filter you love, click the filter’s name on the top left of the photo. A little toolbar will pop up on the bottom of the screen with four options.

There are two ways you can do this: You can either use Instagram's filter management tool, or, to save even more time, simply drag and drop filters when you upload a new photo or video. Check out a step-by-step guide to each method below.
