Use inside your existing planetarium shows, e.g. live, "space update" or "sky tonight" shows (see more information below for talking points), or use them in creating new shows. Use the alpha-channeled images as accurate panoramas for Martian landscapes. Use in a classroom, library, on the museum floor, or at a science festival.
As general tips for planetariums using 360 video, most systems allow you to adjust the tilt and camera center within the spherical video so you can see more landscape, and/or focus on areas of interest throughout the video.
In addition to outstanding shows, our staff-led programming allows school groups to travel to the planet or galaxy of their choice. Frost Planetarium also displays spellbinding laser light events, innovative live programming and is available for private presentations. Please arrive 15 minutes before show time.
Fleischmann Planetarium is part of the University of Nevada, Reno and Extended Studies. Open to the public, we offer daily digital planetarium shows in our dome theater, field trips and educational outreach in Earth and space science, and observatory viewing at the Redfield Campus of the University.

The planetarium serves up to 50,000 visitors a year, including hundreds of school field trips that introduce students, K-12, to the wonders of the universe. We invite children and adults alike to stop by and see what’s up!
Note: The Planetarium is open to visitors again. Through August 31, 2021, we will have a special rate for private shows on Monday through Friday at either 9:30 am or 11:00 am of 50 dollars per show. You can make reservations by calling 702-651-4505 or through our online reservation system. Public shows will begin again on July 2, 2021.
