Firebrand (Originally Red Arremer in Japan) is the protagonist of the classic platforming series Gargoyle's Quest by Capcom, spanning from the original on Gameboy, its sequel for the Nintendo Entertainment System, and the 16 bit successor Demon's Crest (also known as Demon's Blazon in Japan) for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System.
The playable character Red Arremer (Firebrand in the U.S.) made his debut in the video game series Ghosts 'n Goblins as an antagonist character, of which this is a spin-off. Gargoyle's Quest was released on the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console in Japan on June 29, 2011 and worldwide on August 25, 2011.
Gargoyle's Quest was followed by two sequels, a NES game Gargoyle's Quest II in 1992 and Demon's Crest for the SNES in 1994. Firebrand is a gargoyle who is predestined to be the Red Blaze who saves the Ghoul Realm from the evil wrath of King Breager and brings peace to the land once again.
For the bosses, see Grotesque Guardians. Gargoyles are Slayer monsters located in the Slayer Tower 's top floor and basement, requiring 75 Slayer in order to be harmed. Those found in the basement are only available to players who are assigned gargoyles as their Slayer task.
Gargoyles can be assigned as a slayer task at level 75 Slayer, level 80 combat, and with completion of the Priest in Peril quest by various slayer masters. They are only found in the Slayer Tower, either in the top floor or in the basement.
Gargoyle's Maze is on southeast of the island, not far from the Winter Dragon you can find a vine, climb up and you'll see the entrance to the Gargoyle's Maze. Climb up the vines and head over to the door to speak with the Gargoyle.
A gargoyle lurks among masonry and ruins, delighting in the terror it creates when it breaks from its suspended pose.
