Conducting a business diagnostic is a multistage process from diagnostic to practice that starts with the identification of symptoms of underperformance and establishes causal linkages between those symtoms and enterprise performance. The diagnostic process consists of four steps: Diagnosis, prognosis, treatment and practice.
The diagnostic service must familiarize the clinician with the value of the information obtained from an investigation, including its diagnostic specificity. This requires constant communication between clinical staff and the diagnostic service. Diagnostic reports are valuable only when the information can be used for patient management.

It is therefore an obligation for the diagnostic service to provide the results to the clinician in a timely manner so that the results can be interpreted together with the clinical findings for the patient.
However, in ny countries there is little communication between the physicians and laboratory and diagnostic imaging services. Occasionally, medical staff that diagnostic imaging and even more so laboratory services report ults that are inappropriate or even erroneous.
The paper points out why and how it is necessary to include business processes into organizational diagnosis as a first step in the process of organizational change management. First, the necessity of including business processes into diagnostic models which are used during the performing of organizational changes is proved in the paper.
