9 hours ago For his first few years of recording, Jelly Roll served up straight Southern hip-hop, but by the middle of the decade his approach had evolved. The mood on records like Therapeutic Music 5 and Sobriety Sucks turned darker, the lyrics became more intense and introspective, and the production began to mix elements of rock and country in with the ...

Slice one apple thinly (core and seeds included) and drop that into the pan. 3. Bring mixture to a simmer (not boil) for about 10 minutes (or until the apple has softened).

7 hours ago Oct 03, 2011 . You should have between 12 and 14 cups of juice. Combine the apple mint juice with the sugar in a large pot. Bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Let the mixture cook at a rapid boil for ten minutes. (If you want to make jelly instead of syrup, increase the sugar to 10 cups, and make sure that the mixture reaches 220 degrees F.)

You can cover the pan, or leave uncovered. Transfer the pureed apple to a jelly bag and collect the juice as it drips out. Don't poke the jelly bag!

10 hours ago Sep 02, 2008 . Best Answer. My chokecherry jelly does that sometimes too. Just empty the jars into a large pot, wash and sterilize jars again. Add a box of pectin to the jelly and bring to a boil, boil one minute and pour back into jars and seal. It is the same procedure as you first made the jelly, but you do not add any more sugar.

Combine the un-set jelly with the appropriate amount of sugar, pectin, water and lemon juice in a large pot. Bring this to a rolling boil over high heat, stirring constantly. When comes to a hard boil – meaning it starts to foam, expand, and you can not stir to make it stop – time it for one minute.
Pour your soft jelly or jam into a medium-sized pot and add 2 tablespoons of lemon juice for each quart of jelly. Bring it to a boil over medium-high heat for 3 to 4 minutes. Then test the jelly to see if it’s setting. If it’s not continue to boil for another minute and then test again.
My apple jelly came out more like rubber than jelly. What can I do with it? I don't want to throw it out, but can't spread it. It has good flavor. It sounds like you have too much pectin in it. Try to reprocess it and add in more apple juice and if needed sugar, but no more pectin.
An easy to make apple jelly; excellent served with roast pork, or added to a casserole for extra depth of flavour. Wash the apples and cut off any bruises. Cut into 1.5" - 2" chunks. There is no need to peel and core. Put the apple chunks into a large pan, pour over a the water and cook on a low heat until soft and pureed.
