A police presence was seen Thursday night in downtown Davenport. The mandate passed the school board by a vote of 5-2. A hearing on the motion is scheduled for Oct. 25. Recovery is cautious, as employers try to anticipate the impacts of the coronavirus, supply chain disruptions and labor force shortages.
