  • Part 3: Useful iCloud Email Tricks Part 3: Useful iCloud Email Tricks There are so many tricks you can do with your iCloud Email that many users are unaware of. Here are some to make you an iCloud Email superstar. Access your iCloud Email everywhere There is this big misconception that you cannot access your iCloud Email from any devices other than the ones it is registered to. You can actually, in fact, do so from anywhere in the world as long as you have an internet browser. To access your iCloud Email, just make your way to on any internet browser to log into your account. You will then be able to send and read Emails. Create filtering rules that will work on all devices You can create rules on the Mail app on your Mac, but you will need to have your Mac constantly turned on for the filters to work. To have these rules applied on all of your devices, set them up on your iCloud Email - this way, your incoming Emails will be sorted out in the cloud before arriving on your devices. This is a great way to declutter your devices and not have your Mac powered on all the time. Inform people when you are not around This is a feature that is lacking on the Mail app on Mac and other iOS devices. On your iCloud Email, set up an automated away Email to tell people that you are currently off work and when you will be back. In this day and age, this could help you maintain a good rapport with clients and employers, current and prospects, as an answered Email can be deemed as unprofessional and incompetent. Forward incoming mail There is a high chance that your iCloud Email is not your primary account. Therefore, you are more likely to miss out Emails that are sent to this Email address. You can set a rule where iCloud can forward any incoming Emails to your primary account so that you do not miss the important ones. Furthermore, you will not need to check two accounts for Emails anymore! Set up an iCloud alias If you want to avoid spam Emails in your iCloud Email, there is a way to do so. This feature allows you to sign up for three accounts so you can use them when you are signing up for newsletters and post on public forums. There is so much Apple users do not know about their iCloud Email. We hope that you get a lot from this Email so that you can make better use of your iCloud Email account - from making a change iCloud Email to using it more effectively.

How to Restore iPhone from iCloud

Part 1 of 2:Erasing Your iPhone
Consider backing up your iPhone to iCloud before continuing. Since you'll be erasing your iPhone's contents and then retrieving the most recent record of your iPhone's data, backing it up before erasing will ensure that your data is as up to date as possible when you restore it. After you complete this process, you can proceed with erasing your iPhone. You'll need to remove your iPhone from "Find My iPhone" before you can restore from an iCloud backup. Make sure your software is up to date. You won't be able to restore from iCloud if you aren't running the latest version of iOS. To check for an update: Tap your Settings app to open it. Tap the "General" tab. Tap the "Software Update" option. Tap "Download and Install" if there is an update available. Return to the "General" tab. If you had to update, you'll need to tap the Settings app again to re-open Settings. Tap the "Reset" option. This will be at the bottom of the General menu. Tap "Erase all content and settings". If your iPhone has a passcode, you'll need to enter it to continue. Tap "Erase iPhone". This is at the bottom of the screen; tapping it will begin the erase process. Wait for your iPhone to finish resetting. This may take several minute; once it's done, you can begin restoring your iPhone.
Part 2 of 2:Restoring Your iPhone
Swipe the "Slide to unlock" text on your phone's screen to unlock it. This will begin the setup process. Tap your preferred language on the next screen. This will set your phone's default language. Tap your preferred region. This will be on the "Select Your Country or Region" screen; doing so sets your phone's default location. Choose a wifi network to connect to. You can also skip this step. Enter your Apple ID and password on the "Activation Lock" screen. These credentials must be the same ones you used to set up your iPhone. You'll have to tap "Next" to continue. If you've changed your Apple ID password since setting up your iPhone, use that password instead. Choose to enable or disable location services. If you aren't sure of which one to choose, tap "Disable location services" at the bottom of your screen. Enter a passcode of your choosing, then enter it again to confirm. You can also do this later if you wish. Tap "Restore from iCloud Backup" on the "Apps and Data" screen. This will begin the restoration process. Enter your Apple ID and password again. This is to check for iCloud backup files. Tap "Agree" to continue. This is in the lower right corner of your screen; tapping "Agree" will prompt you to select an iCloud backup date. Tap your preferred iCloud backup date to begin the backup process. Please note that a restoration from iCloud will take several minutes. Wait for your iPhone to finish restoring. This may take several minutes. Enter your Apple ID password when prompted. This will restore your phone and its data. Please note that you will need to wait an additional amount of time to let your phone's apps update and resume their pre-erase status.
