• What is the purpose of the NRECA regional meetings?

  NRECA Regional Meetings bring together electric co-op CEOs/general managers, directors, voting delegates and key staff to engage with industry experts and colleagues who share common issues. For the 2021 Regional Meetings, members will have the option to attend the event in-person or online.

• Why attend NRECA plus?

  Plus more than 5,000 co-op leaders attending NRECA’s Annual Meeting converge on the Expo hall for the latest technology solutions. This event creates a unique opportunity for your organization to reach the fastest growing segment of the U.S. electric utility industry.

• What is the cancellation policy at NRECA hotels?

  A non-refundable deposit equal to one (1) night's room and tax will be charged for cancellations made after the published hotel cut-off date to the credit card used to guarantee the reservation. NRECA's cancellation policy overrides any hotel policies concerning room cancellations.

• What happens at the national electricity cooperatives meeting?

  At the meeting, cooperative leaders from across the country will gather to celebrate the strength of the cooperative network, to conduct important association business, and to focus on how we–as cooperatives–can continue our mission of safely providing cooperative members with affordable and reliable electricity.

• What are the best events for Electric Co-ops?

  NRECA, CFC, NRTC and Federated sponsor a wide range of conferences and events each year. These include national and regional meetings, as well as professional conferences for directors, executives and staff. These events have been designed specifically for electric co-ops to enhance effectiveness in serving their members.

• Do AA meetings still operate?

  Most AA meetings are still NOT operating in-person, but many have online meetings. Most of these meetings are now updated in our online directory below, but you can still access the old Google Sheet online meeting list. Read more about re-opening guidelines here .

• Are in-person and hybrid meetings now being listed?

  As of June 15, 2021 in-person and hybrid meetings are now being listed. Please be patient as we verify meetings. Secretaries can locate your group’s listing & click “request update” below the map on your listing’s page.
