This neighborhood, with its mix of nationalities and ethnicities, is one of the reasons why Paris is among the most multicultural cities in the world. If you are in town at Chinese New Year, the parade isn’t to be missed but, on any day of the week, the avenue and the streets off it are ripe for discovery.
As with all fashion weeks these days, we weren’t quite sure what the street style would look like for the Paris Haute Couture Spring 2021 season. Or if there would be any sightings at all. Well, there was a smattering of models off duty and guests dressed to the nines spotted outside the shows. But the street style was definitely streamlined.

In fact, over the past few seasons, only a limited number of show-goers were captured outside on the quiet streets. But Fall 2021 Haute Couture street style is proof that the energy is back, and the outfits are more glamorous than ever.
Louis Vuitton Bulbous, bubble-like shapes started trending early in the lockdowns. For fall 2021, the silhouette veered from soft Romeo Gigli–style cocoons to more pumped-up ovoid forms, with an emphasis on the hips and thighs.
