How to mail disable a security group

5 hours ago Jun 20, 2018 . This is kinda crazy IMHO. I have mail enabled security groups which I wish to change into Office 365 groups and RETAIN the same email address yet the only way I can do this is to completely remove the original AD group because once it is synced with AD even though I remove the email using "Disable-DistributionGroup" the @domain.onmicrosoft.com still remains.
