I'm sure Gabriel will start getting very busy after this post.Surfin USA [emoji570][emoji475]Being self employed I know for a fact "Pay 100% after" will end the first time one of these guys gets burned. Or they will say " This is a side job, why am I risking my hard earned money"At this point they just quit doing it and we are all out. It is also a side job. Meaning "It is on their schedule"All it will take is for someone to order skins, then not be able to take delivery. We have all been there. "I had unexpected medical expenses" or " I wrecked my car and had to buy a new one". or my favorite "I budgeted that last month, I don't have it this month"Yes, I have actually heard that one!!!Even if they have material in stock, It was paid for up front! These guys have to get something up front.I also wanted to add. These are guys with normal day jobs. After emailing Gabriel, I backed it up with a phone call, because it sounded like he had started his own gig. He in fact still has a normal day job. I get upset when my employees get personal calls on the clock.Especially side work that should be referred to the business. The only difference here is Malibu will not support beyond 5 years, this is a mistake by Malibu. These phone calls during business hours will ruin the service we have. Please stick to emails and let them respond on their own schedule.Obviously, I do not approve of people walking with others hard earned money. Just needed to point out the obvious. They are also taking a risk. Quite often unneeded if they have a day job. I am sure they could have plenty of local work to keep them busy. :)BTWI am work first get paid laterIt is just the way my trade works. I know many trades that receive 50% up front for material. Sure wish I could!!! Link to comment

Seat Skin Removal - DIY Guides - Nissan GT-R Heritage

  • #1 OMG RB 26 Posted 23 December 2014 - 12:05 AM OMG RB 26 Posted   I began by popping off the seat recliner handle. It pulls straight out     Now remove the bezel, also pops right out     Now flip the seat on its side so you can access the bottom. There are 4 -12mm bolts you need to remove to pull off the lower portion of the seat     Now that the seat is loosened up, you can remove the 2 plastic tabs holding the fabric to the physical seat tabs     Now you'll need to remove the 2 connectors fastened to the physical seat. If you pull up on the backside and they will slide forward     Then cut this zip tie     The bottom portion of the seat can now be removed     Now we can start working on the back side of the seat. You will have to pry back the black plastic locking piece thats about 12" long       Now this gives us access to the plastic back brace. Pull it by removing 2 phillips screws and releasing the locking tabs     Now there is a second locking tab black piece that can be undone     Now we have access to the bull rings that secure the fabric to the seat. You will use some good pliars or dikes to remove these. There will be 2 on each side       Now there are a few bull rings holding the back rest pad to the physical seat. Remove     Now you need to remove the harness connected to the seat heater on the physical seat     The back rest will come right out       Now there's a bunch of bull rings holding the side part of the seats to the physical seat. Remove these     There are four of them hidden approaching the head rest     Now you can work the seat over and remove the 2 -10mm nuts holding the air bag in place. It must be removed to get the seat skin off because its protected by a cover sewn into the seat skin. Its hard to see the nuts but they are here     You can pop out the air bag and remove it from the sewn bag       Now you can start to peel up the seat skin and remove the 6 places the material is held to the seat behind the recliner bezel     Next step is by far the worst part of the process - getting the harness pass-thrus out. I looked them up and they're 8 bucks a piece so I kind of gorilla'd them out of there     Once they are out, there is 4 tabs that hold the material to the seat. Pull these off     Once those are off, you can work the seat skin off the top of the seat     To ensure I get a quality fit, I am sending my tailor the full foam piece as well so he can ensure the seams are right. The foam will just pull out with some wiggling. It is held in place by some adhesive     Finished product     This is what I am sending them     My plan is to do the leather portions in black napa leather and the fabric portions in black alcantara. I am thinking I will go with red stiching, but possibly grey - not sure yet. I assume it will be 3-4 weeks before I see the finished product back at my place.   Cheers! icarus, 7racer and domino_z like this 2009 GTR - Self Built 3.8, Elite Plus, Self Built Trans (1K equivalent) E85  etc 1/4 Mile - 8.8@164mph 1/2 Mile - 201mph

Car seats for kids? - Peru Forum - Tripadvisor

4 hours ago I think that's up to you. The risks of a 2 year old not using a car seat are certainly no different in Peru than anywhere else. I suppose if you use a car seat when you go on trains, buses, planes, and taxis in your home country than you might want to bring one with.. I know in Chicago, my home city in the USA, I never see kids in car seats on commuter trains or on the bus.

The seat will go back in a lot easier. then snap it back on. We had a customer that weighed in at 300/350 lbs. We tried a lot of fixes to keep his seat cover/pad from moving around including cover, pad, frame. No luck.
