Hazarth Shah Goolam Mohamed Soofie Sani RA was in charge of the Darbar from 1947 to 1978, a period which proved most turbulent in the history of the Darbar (including a civil court case that was instituted against him regarding the Mazaar Shareef of Hazrath Badsha Peer RA and in which judgment was given in his favour).
