The Education Advocacy Program represents families of students with disabilities in special education proceedings, including Individual Education Plans (IEP’s) meeting, mediation due process hearings, and government complaints.
It was a 12-week course on how to become a Special Education Advocate. It looked thorough. And, Kevin was a toddler. I’d get a good 20 years out of this investment. I was staring down 20 years of IEP meetings. For me, this was an accidental career.
