Using the Delete Key on a Mac & Adding a Forward Delete Button. The delete key on a Mac keyboard functions like a backspace key on a Windows/PC keyboard, deleting a character a time backwards from where the cursor is located.
Traditionally, extended keyboards come with a Forward Delete key that, when you press it, deletes characters to the right of the insertion point, unlike the main Delete key, which deletes to the left of the insertion point.

After installing the CAC enabler, restart the computer and go to a CAC enabled website NOTE: Mac OS Sierra (10.12.x), High Sierra (10.13.x), Mojave (10.14.x), Catalina (10.15.x), Big Sur (11.x), and Monterrey (12.x) computers no longer need a CAC Enabler.
Force delete the file. If all else fails, another terminal command can force file deletion. Enter “sudo rm -r [path to the file]”. In most cases, this command will delete the file once granted administrator permission with the password.
