Visualize yellow and see in your imagination, see using your inner eye, all the various shades of yellow. Allow yellow to fill your vision. Lemons and flowers and fall leaves.
DeLue (1999) investigated the effect of coloring mandalas on relaxation by recording physiological changes. The study found that the coloring of mandala designs decreased heart rate and blood pressure, while simultaneously improving some symptoms of stress and anxiety.
Yellow Allow your mind to see the color yellow. Powerful, bright yellow. Visualize yellow and see in your imagination, see using your inner eye, all the various shades of yellow. Allow yellow to fill your vision. Lemons and flowers and fall leaves. Imagine yourself surrounded with yellow. Immerse yourself in a sea of yellow.
Pick one color to focus on. You may try starting with red one day, and work your way through the traditional rainbow spectrum on each subsequent day. Find one thing you can see that is the color you have picked. Look at it with beginner’s mind, as if you have never seen this thing before.
