  • How can I see faces in my photos?

    If Photos found a face or you added a face manually, you will see a circle around the detected face. The circles will only show, if you enable "Show faces names" in the "View" menu. You can switch them off again, with "Hide Faces Names", to be able to see the photo properly.

  • How do you add a face to a photo?

    Just type a name into the text field below the circle around a face and it will add a new person to the People album. Click a photo, to view it enlarged. If Photos found a face or you added a face manually, you will see a circle around the detected face.

  • Is there a way to force scan faces on Mac?

    Unfortunately, if there is no "force scan" option or the bug is not fixed by apple to complete facial scans in a timely fashion, then the best thing for Mac users to do is to resort to using another product. Picasa scanned all of my photos and in little time.
