When the firmware has been downloaded, click on the 'Start Unlock' button to factory reset ipad if you forgot password. Wait for a few minutes while it tries to remove the passcode from your device. When it's done, you will see the device has been reset to factory resettings.
If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled. If you enter the wrong passcode on an iOS device six times in a row, you'll be locked out and a message will say that your device is disabled. Learn what to do.
Open iPhone Unlocker and go to Wipe Passcode panel. Click Start button. Connect your iPad you'd like to unlock to the computer. Confirm your device information for your iPad and hit Start button. Download the software firmware for iPad passcode unlock. Enter "0000" in the opening dialog box and press the Unlock button. Done.
After removing forgotten iPad passcode, you can restore in iPad from a backup or set up the device as new. The Restore option has been directly built into iTunes to factory reset and unlock the iPad when you can't remember iPad passcode, or it became disabled as the passcode was entered wrongly too many times.
Remove the iPad from the computer if iTunes asks for your passcode, and then follow the steps in Section 2. Right-click on the iPad icon in the left column of the iTunes window if you're not prompted for the passcode. Click "Back Up.". Click "Restore" when the backup finishes.
When you forget a passcode, the only option is to restore the device to either a backup or factory settings using iTunes. Connect your iPad to the computer with which you normally sync the iPad and open iTunes.
What to do if you forgot your iPad password. Here are the solutions you can try if you lost the password/passcode for your iPad. You shouldn’t have to try them all. Just try each one in turn until everything’s working again. Reset your iPad in iCloud. Restore your iPad in iTunes. Restore your iPad via Recovery Mode.
